Gearing Up for the Sotheby’s International Realty 2023 Global Networking Event

The 2023 Global Networking Event will include keynote speaker Indra Nooyi, one of the most influential thinkers of our generation, plus two incredible mainstage speakers, Sotheby’s CEO Charles Stewart and restaurateur Will Guidara. There will also be numerous breakout sessions covering a variety of topics, ranging from lead generation, marketing trends, negotiating skills, leveraging the network for referrals and so much more - all designed to provide our industry experts with the key ingredients for building a successful and sustainable business.

CHARLES STEWART - SOTHEBY’S CEO

Registered attendees will hear how Charles Stewart operates one of the world's most trusted marketplaces and powers a 277-year-old heritage brand with innovation and technology. Charles is also widely known and respected in the art, luxury, and financial industries:

  • Prior to Sotheby's, Mr. Stewart served as Co-President and CFO of Altice USA, helping lead the company's successful US$2.1 billion public offering on the NYSE. 

  • Charles spent much of his career in banking and finance, spanning the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.

  • Mr. Stewart is a graduate of Yale University and resides in New York, New York with his family. 

Mr. Stewart is focused on delivering Sotheby's mission to expand access and ownership of works of art and luxury objects by operating the world's most trusted marketplace. He aims to do this by balancing a 277-year heritage brand with innovation and technology to power its future.

Will Guidara is widely known and respected in the hospitality industry:

  • Author of the national bestseller Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect, filled with essential lessons in hospitality for every business.

  • The former owner of Make it Nice, the hospitality group that owned and operated Eleven Madison Park, the food and beverage programs at the NoMad Hotels in New York, London, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Davies and Brook at Claridge's in London, and Made Nice. 

  • Through his focus on service and hospitality, he led Eleven Madison Park to earn seven James Beard Awards, three Michelin Stars, and the title of #1 Restaurant in the World in 2017.
